We’re thrilled to announce our fourth Readiness camp! Here’s what you can expect during the Readiness camp:
At the Readiness camp, we delve into what it takes to perform at the highest level. We believe that it’s something unique within the mind, something extraordinary. Our camp offers the best opportunity to discover that special ingredient. With guidance from some of the world’s top action sports athletes, we provide coaching and mentorship to elevate your mindset and performance to new heights.
This year, we’re introducing a more structured approach to the week, guided by Simon Williams. Each day will focus on a specific pillar: Fear (both physical and psychological), Confidence, Resilience, and Focus.
We’re also thrilled to collaborate with leading boardsport athletes and industry experts who will not only push your skills on the board but also emphasize the crucial mental aspect. Stay tuned for announcements regarding our coaches and speakers.
Our guest coaches include Simon Williams from Motivation & Performance Partners (M&PP), a former AIS and NSWIS athlete, and an award-winning filmmaker. Simon’s extensive experience in high-performance coaching and mentorship, especially in trauma-informed care, makes him a valuable addition to our team.
Ryan Tiene, ex-professional snowboarder and Readiness camp founder, will also be joining us to share his expertise.
Here’s a glimpse of our program (subject to change):
Day 1: An early start with a day of wakeboarding, where you’ll push your limits. While some of the group hits the lake, others will learn new skills on electric hydrofoils. Simon will discuss Fear.
Day 2: A morning airbag session followed by an introduction to Wimhof techniques and breathwork. Learn to control your body’s responses through breathing. Simon will talk about Confidence.
Day 3: A morning of mountain biking at Thredbo, followed by a yoga session. Simon’s discussion on Resilience in the afternoon.
Day 4: Start the day with a run, followed by a high ropes course adventure. Simon will focus on building concentration.
Day 5: A morning airbag session before wrapping up around mid-day. Trampoline sessions will be sprinkled throughout the camp.
We’ll also feature guest athlete speakers, so stay tuned for exciting updates!
Each day will conclude with a debrief back at the Sport and Rec facility in Jindabyne, NSW. During these sessions, we’ll reflect on the day, discussing the highlights, challenges, and lessons learned.
Our Readiness Camp HQ is located at the Sport and Rec facility in Jindabyne, NSW. The facility is equipped with trampolines, airbags, a foam pit, and a gym, providing an incredible setting for your experience. Plus, with on-site accommodation, you’ll be in the heart of the action at all times.”
We can’t wait to have you join us for this camp experience!
